1

Having interrogated the brief to ensure we know exactly what is required, we carry out a full site survey and liaise closely with the design team and main contractor. Our highly skilled team of draughtsmen produce drawings and samples of the recommended  materials. Once they have been approved, we work up the drawings so that they form an accurate guide for manufacture.

2

At this point the materials we are going to use are prepped and machined. This involves cutting, profiling, CNCing and veneering the materials. All veneering is done in-house which gives us the flexibility to veneer everything from book match/slip match lay-ups up to starburst and box pattern lay-ups. The veneer is cut and stitched together before being pressed.

3

The materials are then transferred to the bench where they are transformed into the furniture or joinery items. We make up every item unfinished so we know that all elements fit perfectly. Our craftsmen carry out all elements of the process including mitring, gluing, cutting in ironmongery, forming shapes and curves, further profiling and
cutting-in for lighting. It is also at this point any metalwork & upholstery is prepared.

4

Once each item has passed through the initial production process we undertake a multi-point quality control check to ensure each item leaves the workshop in perfect condition’.

After quality control each item is disassembled for finishing. We then apply any number of different finishes as specified from spray painting to polishing, staining to high gloss burnishing.

6

Following the finishing process any additional materials required are applied to the item such as ironmongery, metalwork and upholstery.

7

Before each item leaves the workshop it is carefully wrapped to ensure no damage takes place during transportation. It is loaded onto one of our fleet of vans and driven to the site where it is unloaded and installed by our team of carpenters to suit site progress.
